MINISTRIES & MEMBERSHIP
We unite for the worship of God and service of all. Worship at Plymouth moves hearts and engages minds. Whether you find God in soaring choir anthems or acoustic harmonies, worship at Plymouth will stir your soul to life.
Being a member of Plymouth means taking on an active and vital role in the life of this wonderful community of faith. Plymouth invites everyone to come and experience all that is happening in the big red church on Vermont Street.
Altruism is born through experience and guidance. The next generation of church goers can very literally change the world. This crucial stage in a youth's faith journey demands and is defined by faith put into action. From a full calendar of fun social events, to the emotional impact that comes from the exhausting yet rewarding work on service trips and programs, Plymouth's vibrant, eclectic, and active youth group is one of our endless sources of pride.
True to its historical roots, Plymouth prides itself on being on the proactive forefront of social justice, missional, and service issues of our day. We believe that Jesus made it very clear that we are called to action in the service and care for one another, especially for those who have the least among us. In our building in our town and across the nation, Plymouth members donate their money, time, sweat, and tears to the cause of peace, justice, and well being for all.
Stephen Ministers are members of Plymouth who are specially trained to listen, care, encourage and support people who are going through tough times. People will receive quality, Christ-centered, confidential care for their hurts and needs, thereby, helping the pastors reach more members of the congregation. Through Stephen Ministry our congregation includes a caring body of believers actively involved in serving one another in love.
