Beginning Knitting Class
with Chris Collister and Jack Brewer
Meets at Plymouth Church
Thursdays at 2 pm • June 26 through July 31 (6 weeks)
ages 14 - adult (maximum of 6 people)
Participants should bring size 8 or 9 knitting needles, if they own them. Otherwise they will be provided. Yarn will be provided.
Make Your Own Loom – Weaving Worshop
with Carol Leffler
Meets at Plymouth Church
ages 12-adult • 3-6 participants
Wednesday, July 16 • 1-3pm & Friday, July 18 • 1-3pm
Participants will learn the basics of weaving, how to make a simple loom, and will weave a small project – coasters, hot pads, small purse, wall hanging.
Writing Workshop – “Short-short Prose”
with Kirsten Bosnak
3-4 meetings of about 90 minutes
Initial Meeting: July 12 from 2:30-4pm
Participants will discuss the remaining meeting dates and times.
ages 16 - adult • 6-25 participants
This class will explore the chameleon genre of short-short prose that can show up as nonfiction, fiction, poetry or something else. Participants will write some of their own prose.
Artistic Birdhouses – Woodworking
with Tim O’Brien
August/September at Tim O’Brien’s home
2-3 sessions
maximum of 6 people ages 14 - adult
Materials and tools will be provided.
Beautiful Bugs – Clay Class
with Jan Gaumnitz
Saturday, July 12 1-3 pm
Location: Jan’s studio
1.5-2 hours
1st – 5th grade
3-8 participants
This class will create bugs out of clay and glaze them.

Poured Painting & Mixed Media

6th-12th grade

This class will explore poured painting medium and also create mixed media art.

Versatile Cylinders in Clay
with Jan Gaumnitz
Tuesday, July 29 2-4 pm
Location: Jan’s studio
Adult

This class will create cylinders in clay and glaze them.

Watercolor Mindfulness
with Gene Tyner
August 2, 9, 16, 23 • 9-10:30 am at Plymouth
Middle School through adult • 4-8 participants
The class will concentrate on basic watercolor techniques for the first 2 sessions and then work on a small painting or 2 from a reference photo of choice for the last 2 sessions.
Homemade Gift Wrap
with Angie Brownrabbit
August • 1.5-2 hours
ages 14-adult • 3-7 participants
This class will use relief printing with potatoes and/or re-used Styrofoam to create inexpensive gift wrap out of re-used grocery bags. Participants will need to provide potatoes and/or Styrofoam.
