Bunnies and Turtles Clay Class
Ages: Grades 1,2,3
Saturdays, June 19 and June 26 10-11:30 a.m.
The first Saturday will cover an introduction and demonstration for working with clay AND creating bunnies and turtles.
The second Saturday will entail the glazing process (a bit like painting).
This class is taught by Jan Gaumnitz and will meet at her studio.
Please wear old clothes as art projects can be messy but fun.

Creative Cylinders Clay Class
Ages: Grades 4,5,6
Saturdays, July 10 and July 17 10-11:30 a.m.
The first Saturday will cover an introduction and demonstration for making cylinders for cups, bowls and vases, using lots of texture tools. Each student will make their own creation.
The second Saturday will cover the glazing process.
This class is taught by Jan Gaumnitz and will meet at her studio.
Please wear old clothes as art projects can be messy but fun.

Creative Painting
Ages: Grade 7 through adult
Saturday, July 31 9:30-11:30 a.m.
This class will explore new techniques for applying acrylic paint and collage materials to paper and canvas.
This class is taught by Jan Gaumnitz and will meet at her studio.

Folded Ornament Class
Ages: Grade 7 through adult
Sunday, July 11 4-5:30 p.m.
Students will learn to make small hanging ornaments. These ornaments are fun to make and can be made with fabric for any holiday. This class will feature Christmas ornaments.
(Please bring a glue gun if you have one)
This class is taught by Donna McDaniel and will meet at Plymouth.
There is no class fee.
Beginning Knitting Class
Ages: 12 through adult
Tuesdays: July 6 through August 10 2-3:30 p.m.
Age 12 through adult
This class will cover knitting basics: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing and decreasing, binding off, and following a simple pattern to create a dish cloth.
Participants will need to bring a pair of size 8 or 9 straight knitting needles. (Yarn will be provided)
Chris Collister and Jack Brewer will be teaching this class.
There is no class fee.
Relief Printing Class
Ages: 15 through adult
Date and Time: Wednesdays August 4 - 25, 6-8 p.m.
Relief printmaking is an ancient technique used to produce multiple copies of one image. Students will explore basic printmaking skills while printing a relief by hand. To help keep our earth’s air and water clean, we will use water based inks.
Participants need to bring a simple, high-contrast black and white image to transfer to your relief block OR you may use your imagination to draw your own image. Please wear old clothes.
This class is taught by Angie Babbit and will meet at Plymouth.

Cookie Decorating Class
Ages: High School through adult
Saturday, October 2 1-3 p.m.
This class will create highly decorated cookies that are works of art . . . as beautiful as they are tasty.
Marcia Powers will be teaching this class at Plymouth.
