The Jazz is Back!

Special music for our 9:30 am service on Welcome Sunday, August 21.

After three long years, Jazz is back at Plymouth Church as a part of Welcome Sunday! Join the Plymouth Jazz Combo on Sunday, August 21, for classic tunes like “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” and “Birth of the Blues” and the Chancel Choir singing “Operator” made famous by the Manhattan Transfer. Improvisation, which is at the heart of jazz, provides a metaphor for the Creator’s act toward the creation and toward human creators. You won’t want to miss this excellent worship experience as we step outside the box and invite the “cool” sound of jazz to bring us closer to God! It’s a great Sunday to invite friends and guests.
