Starting Sunday, June 12 and continuing through July 17, 2022 Plymouth presents "Philippians: Faith Under Fire."
Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi testifies to the refining power of facing difficulty in the life of faith. Written from his prison cell, Philippians encourages the church to cultivate humility and practice peace-making when we are under fire. We may not be in prison, but we still have plenty of difficulties to contend with in our lives. Can we name the spiritual dilemmas that underlie those challenges? How might we cultivate practices that strengthen our reliance on humility and peace-making?
