"Loss of Turtle Island" is an historically educating learning experience that will be held on Sunday June 25, from 2:30-4:00 pm, in the Mayflower Room.
Sponsored by a coalition of Lawrence faith communities, it is a participatory exercise that centers on understanding and acknowledging the historic relationships between the European settlers who colonized North America and the Indigenous inhabitants of these lands, and their lasting repercussions, as we look at restorative justice today.
It is being presented without charge and is open to all. For more information, and to RSVP, please contact Beth Chambers at beth.nm.07@gmail.com or text to 505-366-8906.
