What Is the Plymouth Service Corps?
Plymouth's Service Corps gathers to do intentional projects supporting our local mission partners and church members who offer outdoor service projects. We have missed each other this year! And look forward to reconnecting through service for the good of the community.
Plymouth Youth Service Corps - June 23-26
We invite students who have completed 6th-12th grade this school year (and mentors) to join our intentional service-learning projects lined up to support our local mission partners and church members.
The cost of participation in our Youth Service Corps week is $50 (for three days of service projects and three dinners). Full scholarships are available. Contact Rev. Caroline Lawson Dean for more information.
We will work in Lawrence, Kansas (and nearby)! We will gather each morning, break up into groups to do service during the day, and close out each day with dinner and dynamic programming at church. We will commit together to wear masks and remain outside as much as possible. We adapt to the health department's recommendations for our safety and the safety of those we serve.
We need adult mentors who have some hands-on skill sets, but we welcome all students and volunteers to join us and learn as we go! Sign up here to participate in our Youth Service Corps week.
Saturday, June 26 All Church Service Corps Day!
Following our Youth Service Corps project, we will gather on Saturday, June 26, for our All Church Service Corps Project. We will gather in the church parking lot (at 9th & Kentucky) at 9 a.m. for a blessing and then spread out in our community doing local service work and sharing God's love in partnership with community members and local mission partners.
Sign up here to volunteer for our Service Corps Day. 3rd Graders and up are welcome! Families will be partnered together in small groups.
